BLYTHEWOOD, SC – A 53-year-old local man died on Friday morning when his vehicle crashed along a roadway in Blythewood, WLTX News 19 reports.
Police say the incident happened around 4:30 a.m. near the area where Mullis Road becomes Claude Bundrick Road.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a southbound 2008 Nissan Maxima veered off of Mullis Road and crashed into both a ditch and a tree.
Authorities identified the victim as Joseph Freeman Jr. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
