SPARTANBURG, SC – A truck driver was hospitalized after two tractor-trailers collided on I-26 in Spartanburg on Wednesday, 7 News reports.
The accident occurred around 8 a.m. when an 18-wheeler struck the rear of another semi-truck on I-26 near exit 19B for I-85 Northbound.
Police report that the collision caused one of the 18-wheelers to catch fire.
The full circumstances of the wreck are under investigation. The extent of the hospitalized driver’s injuries are unknown at this time.
