WINNSBORO, SC – A 35-year-old man from Charlotte died Saturday in an accident involving an ATV at an adventure park in Winnsboro, WIS News 10 reports.
The incident happened at Carolina Adventure World, which is located just east of Arrowhead Road and several miles west of US-21.
An autopsy is scheduled, but the preliminary investigation revealed that the ATV overturned and landed on the driver, whom authorities have identified as Jorge Bienavides.
The cause of the incident is unclear. A full investigation is underway.
