BOWMAN, SC – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving two vehicles on a highway in Bowman early Saturday morning, reports WLTX News 19.
Police say the incident happened just after 1 a.m. when a westbound 2020 Toyota Corolla veered into eastbound traffic on the Charleston Highway and collided with a 2019 Chevrolet pickup truck near Holstein Road.
The driver of the Toyota died at the scene of the accident. Authorities have not yet named the victim publicly.
Medics transported the driver of the pickup truck and a passenger from the Toyota to a local hospital with injuries.
