HORRY CO., SC – The driver of a motorcycle died Tuesday night when their vehicle collided with an SUV on a roadway near Myrtle Beach, WBTW News 13 reports.
Police say the crash occurred around 9:20 p.m. in the 1300 block of River Oaks Drive, which is just west of Augusta Plantation Drive.
An SUV struck the northbound motorcycle as the SUV driver turned left onto River Oaks Drive from an intersecting roadway.
The motorcyclist died in the wreck. Authorities have not named the victim publicly.
The SUV contained two occupants at the time of the accident, and neither sustained injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
