News: 33-year-old Ladson man killed in crash on I-26

CHARLESTON, SC – A 33-year-old man from Ladson was killed last Thursday when his motorcycle crashed into the rear of a disabled vehicle on I-26 in Charleston.

According to a report by WCSC, Christopher Holloway was riding his motorcycle west on the freeway around 2:10 a.m. when he slammed into the rear of a disabled vehicle.

Holloway was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. It is unclear at this time if the other driver involved was injured.

The interstate was shut down for several hours while emergency crews worked to clear the wreckage. All lanes were reopened by 6:30 a.m.
