NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – A 62-year-old woman and her 4-year-old grandson died in a crash involving 7 vehicles at an intersection in North Charleston on Friday morning.
Live 5 WCSC reports that the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Rivers Avenue and Cosgrove Avenue.
Authorities have not commented on how the collision happened but say that three people were hospitalized in addition to the two that died. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
The deceased grandmother has been identified as Debora Page of John’s Island. Her grandson was from North Charleston.
