BERKELEY CO., SC – One person was killed in a single-vehicle collision near Whitesville on Monday night, WCSC reports.
The crash took place shortly after 9 p.m. along Sheep Island Road near the intersection with Starline Drive.
Trooper say the driver of a pickup truck lost control while heading south on the roadway, causing the vehicle to hit a dich and crash into a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
