NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – A collision involving a semi-truck shut down a portion of I-26 and left one man injured this morning.
According to WCIV, the crash happened at about 5:35 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near Ashley Phosphate Road.
Investigators say the truck driver collided with an unoccupied vehicle on the side of the freeway. The driver was taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
