ANDERSON CO., SC – A 50-year-old man died Monday when his dump truck left the highway and crashed into a guardrail and tree in Anderson County, reports WYFF 4.
Police say the incident happened around 12:15 p.m. on SC-88 near the intersection of State Road S-4-163. Officials located the vehicle after receiving a call from someone who spotted the dump truck overturned in a ditch.
The coroner was called to the scene, and the victim was identified as Thomas Travis Foster from Piedmont in Greenville County.
Officials continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
