GREAT FALLS, SC – One person died early Thursday morning when a vehicle crashed along a roadway in southeast Chester County, reports WBTV 3.
Police say the incident happened around 12:15 a.m. when, for unknown reasons, a westbound vehicle veered off of Washington Street near SC-138 and crashed into a tree.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
It is unclear if the vehicle carried additional occupants at the time of the crash, but no other injuries have been reported at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
