MOUNT PLEASANT, SC – An accident involving three vehicles in Mount Pleasant caused injuries and slowed traffic on Wednesday morning, Live 5 WCSC reports.
Firefighters from The Mount Pleasant Fire Department and the Awendaw-McClellanville Fire District responded to the scene. They say the crash occurred before 11:30 a.m. on Long Point Road near Garden Way.
The wreck closed both sides of Long Point Road. Authorities encouraged drivers to pursue alternate routes while crews worked to clear the scene.
