News: Motorcyclist dies in York Co. 2-vehicle crash on SC-55

YORK CO., SC – A collision between a motorcycle and an SUV on S.C. 55 near Clover killed a man on Tuesday night, The Herald reports.

Police say the incident happened before 10 p.m. when a 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a 2012 Jeep SUV crashed into each other at the intersection of S.C. 55 and Laurelwood Drive.

The unnamed biker died in the crash.

The 58-year-old driver of the SUV did not sustain any injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the wreck.
