News: Motorcyclist Killed in Little River Crash on Hwy 57

LITTLE RIVER, SC – A motorcyclist died after he veered off road and was thrown from his bike in Horry County on Thursday, WMFB reports.

Police say the accident happened on State Highway 57 at 1:30 a.m. The biker, whom police have not named, was headed south towards Old Wampee Road when he left the highway and ran into a ditch.

The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
