PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC – Traffic slowed along Ocean Highway last Friday when a large tree crashed into the front of a work truck in Pawleys Island, reports WPDE abc15 News.
The incident happened in the morning near Willowbrook Road and the Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort.
Authorities identified the driver of the vehicle as Howard Cook. Cook says his crew had to exit the work truck through the windows after the tree crashed onto the front of his vehicle.
It is unclear what caused the tree to fall. No injuries were reported from the incident.
