News: Rider dead after moped accident in Woodruff

WOODRUFF, SC – One person died when their moped was hit by a vehicle on SC-146 near Woodruff on Tuesday evening.

According to Fox Carolina, the collision occurred shortly after 5:08 p.m. when the moped attempted to turn onto the roadway from Prince Caldwell Road and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

The driver of the moped suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The other driver involved was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
