CONWAY, SC – Medics transported two people to the hospital in Conway Thursday morning after a two-vehicle collision involving a dump truck, WMBF News reports.
Police say the incident happened just after 10:20 a.m. near the intersection of Glenmoor Drive and South Carolina Highway 90.
Authorities have not yet commented on how the crash happened, but rescue officials say the accident involved entrapment. At least one person had to be extricated from the flipped vehicle.
Motorists were encouraged to avoid Highway 90 in the vicinity of the wreck while emergency crews worked to treat injuries and clear the scene.
