SALUDA CO., SC – A 20-year-old woman died when a pickup truck crashed and overturned near Saluda on Monday, WJBF reports.
Police learned of the crash on Tuesday morning but say it likely happened just after 11 p.m. on Monday on Hightower Road near Berryland Road.

The victim in the crash was the front-seat passenger, whom authorities have identified as Kailey Blumel of Georgia.
The driver of the pickup truck has been identified as 22-year-old John Bannister, also from Georgia. The extent of Bannister’s injuries are unknown, but police say he was transported to an area hospital.
