BERKELEY CO., SC – A 68-year-old woman from Bonneau died last Friday night when her car crashed along the highway near Moncks Corner, reports Live 5 News.
Police say the incident happened around 11:40 p.m. on U.S. Highway 52 near Jessamine Road.
For unknown reasons, the driver lost control of her westbound car and veered from the roadway. The vehicle overturned after hitting a fence.
Authorities identified the victim as Schryle Richards. They say Richards was the only person in the car at the time of the wreck.
The incident remains under investigation.
