COLUMBIA, SC – Police are investigating a car and train crash that killed one person on Friday in Richland County, the Charlotte Observer reports.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Cushman Drive and Ames Road. The car had only one occupant.
Police have not reported any additional injuries from the wreck at this time.
This is an ongoing investigation, and the name of the deceased has not yet been released.
