LONGS, SC – The Horry County coroner has released the identity of the construction worker who was fatally struck by a vehicle on Highway 90 in Longs last Sunday.
According to WMBF, 38-year-old Paul Liwock of Conway was in a work zone near the intersection with Quail Ridge Boulevard when he was hit by an eastbound Kia sedan.
Liwock was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries two days later.
It is unclear at this time if the driver of the Kia will face any charges.
