CHARLESTON, SC – A convenience store in North Charleston was seriously damaged when a vehicle slammed into the storefront on Wednesday.
According to WCBD, the incident occurred at the Kwik Stop store near Park Circle.
A spokesperson for the Kwik Stop said the driver suffered a medical emergency, causing their vehicle to it a large freezer outside, pushing it into the store.
The store was shut down for some time so the mess could be cleaned up.
The driver’s condition is unclear at this time. No additional injuries were reported as a result.
