AIKEN, SC – A 50-year-old man died on Thursday afternoon when his pickup truck crashed along a roadway in Aiken, WRDW 12 reports.
Police say the incident happened at 4:40 p.m. at the intersection of Whiskey Road and Partridge Bend Road, or State Highway 1466.
For unknows reasons, the driver of a northbound 2006 Dodge Ram truck veered across the southbound lane, exited the roadway, and crashed into a tree.
The victim, identified as Kirk D. Losier, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and died at the scene from blunt-force injuries.
A full investigation of the collision is underway.
