News: 1 Dead in single-car rollover in Dillon Co.

DILLON CO., SC – A woman died when her vehicle crashed and overturned along a highway near Latta on Saturday afternoon, reports WBTW News 13.

Police say the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. on Highway 38. For unknown reasons, the woman’s westbound vehicle lost control and collided with a culvert. The impact caused her car to overturn.

Officials identified the driver as 31-year-old Jessica Legette of Galivants Ferry. Medics transported her to a local hospital where she later died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
