LAKE CITY, SC – A 64-year-old man died when his golf cart collided head-on with a vehicle on a roadway in Lake City on Tuesday evening, abc News 15 reports.
Police say the incident happened on South Morris Street, also known as State Road S-21-36. The victim was driving the cart without lights and on the wrong side of the roadway when he collided with an oncoming vehicle.
Authorities identified the victim as Sidney Kennedy of Lake City. Kennedy died after transport to a local hospital.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
