RIDGEVILLE, SC – One person died when a tractor-trailer collided with an SUV on SC-27 in west Berkeley County on Tuesday morning.
News 2 reports that the crash happened around 9:05 a.m. near Garden Court.
Police say that a northbound Freightliner 18-wheeler and a southbound 1999 Ford SUV with utility trailer crashed into each other on SC-27.
The driver of the SUV died at the scene of the crash. The truck driver was not hurt.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
