News: 2 hospitalized following fiery crash in Florence

FLORENCE, SC – Two people were sent to the hospital following a fiery multi-vehicle crash in Florence this morning.

According to WBTW, the driver of a Ford Focus was heading east on Pamlico Highway when their vehicle experienced a brake issue. The Ford then cut through the parking lot of a convenience store before crashing into another vehicle on Claussen Road.

The Ford was on fire at the scene. However, it is unclear if the fire was caused by the crash or if it was a factor in the collision.

Both drivers involved were hospitalized with minor injuries.
