COTTAGEVILLE, SC – One person died after a pickup truck and motorcycle collided at an intersection in Colleton County Friday evening, WCBD News 2 reports.
Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Pierce Road, or State Road S-15-35, and Brocktown Road.
A Dodge pickup truck struck a motorcycle as the truck turned left from Brocktown Road onto Pierce Road.
The motorcyclist died at the scene of the collision. The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Robert Moore, did not sustain injuries in the wreck.
South Carolina Highway Patrol will continue the investigation.
