News: Collision on I-77 in Columbia injures at least 1

COLUMBIA, SC – At least one person was injured in a collision on I-77 in west Columbia on Wednesday morning.

According to a report by The State, the crash happened along the interstate exit ramp to Garners Ferry Road at about 11:35 a.m.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, officials with South Carolina DPS confirmed at least one person was injured as a result.

Significant traffic delays were reported in the area for some time after the incident.
