SUMTER, SC – A pedestrian was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run accident on Scales Road Saturday, WLTX reports.
Police say the incident occurred around 10 p.m. when a car struck an unnamed passenger while traveling south towards North Kings Highway.
Authorities are currently looking for a black Honda Accord sedan with possible damage to the passenger side. They believe the driver is responsible for this deadly incident.
