ANDERSON, SC – One person was hospitalized after a tractor-trailer overturned near Anderson on Wednesday evening.
According to Fox Carolina, the crash took place shortly before 5:25 p.m. along I-80 South near mile marker 8.
It is unclear at this time what caused the truck to tip over. However, one person was pinned inside as a result.
The victim was extricated by firefighters and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The roadway was shut down for some time following the incident while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
