LATTA, SC – A 54-year-old Lumberton man died when his tractor trailer left the highway on Thursday near the state line in Dillon County, WPDE reports.
Police say the accident happened around 6:36 a.m. as the driver, identified as Rickey Devon Jones, veered off I-95 and hit a tree. Jones had been driving south near mile marker 181.
Officials continue to investigate what may have caused the accident.
