You’ve just been in a car accident. No one expects to be in a wreck. You need to know what to do.
I’m Michael Jeffcoat. I’m going to tell you The Real Deal. I help make things right for injured people just like you by getting them the money they need to get their lives back on track.
You’ve been in a wreck. First and foremost, remember to remain calm and to stay on the scene. It’s very, very important to remember your obligation to stay there until the wreck has been investigated.
Call 911. Call 911 as soon as you’re able to.
Next, if other people have been hurt on the scene in the wreck, then, if you can, come to their aid and be helpful to them. That’s very, very important, of course, also.
If there are any witnesses, if there are any passersby or people in other vehicles who saw what happened, preserve their name, cell number, and address if you can, because those witnesses are very, very important and they can just leave the scene, and nobody will ever hear from them again. Make sure you get their information.
Next, if you have been hurt, if you’ve been banged up, seek medical attention immediately.
Then after you’ve done that, you should call an experienced injury attorney as soon as possible. My office gives free consultations in this situation and we’re happy to help you if you need more information and need guidance in this situation. If you need our help, we’re going to be with you all the way.
I’m Michael Jeffcoat. That was The Real Deal, and we’ll see you next time.
