LAURENS CO., SC – A 19-year-old died Sunday morning after their car crashed on a state road near Gray Court, which is located in north-central Laurens County.
Fox Carolina News reports that the incident happened around 4 a.m. on Dials Church Road, or State Road S-30-701.
Police say the adolescent driver lost control of the vehicle, which flipped after hitting an embankment on the side of the road and then crashing into a tree.
The victim died at the scene of the accident. Authorities identified him as Seth Balentine of Gray Court.
The crash remains under investigation.
