DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC – Authorities have not yet publicly identified the victim of a motorcycle accident that happened just east of Hartsville on Tuesday night.
WMBF News reports that the incident happened around 11 p.m. on East Home Avenue.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the driver of a Harley Davidson motorcycle veered off of East Home Avenue and collided with multiple mailboxes before hitting a pole.
Authorities pronounced the motorcyclist dead as the scene of the wreck. A full investigation of the incident is underway.
