News: 2-vehicle crash in N Charleston kills 1, injures 1

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision in North Charleston that killed one driver and injured another Tuesday evening.

WCBD News 2 reports that the crash happened around 6:40 p.m. at the 8000 block of Rivers Avenue. The eastbound lanes of Rivers in the vicinity of the accident were closed Tuesday night.

Emergency crews responded to the scene where one driver was pronounced deceased. The driver of the other vehicle went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
