News: 2-vehicle crash kills 1 on Hwy 9 in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, SC – One person died after two vehicles collided on a highway in north-central Dillon County on Saturday night, reports WPDE 15 News.

Police say the incident happened just before 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 9 and Harllees Bridge Road.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of a 2012 Chevrolet pickup truck failed to stop at a stop sign on Harllees Bridge Road and crashed into a westbound 2018 Buick sedan on Highway 9.

The accident killed the right front passenger from the Buick, which carried three passengers. Authorities have not yet released the identify of the victim.

It is unclear at this time if anyone else sustained injuries in the collision. A full investigation is underway.
