News: Collision near Piedmont knocks down power lines

PIEDMENT, SC – Emergency personnel were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash near Piedmont on Saturday afternoon.

According to a report by The Journal, a red sedan slammed into a utility pole near the intersection of Old Pelzer Road and Emily Lane.

The cause of the crash is unclear. However, photos from the scene show the vehilce propped against a tree several yards from the pole.

We do not know at this time if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the incident.
