WALTERBORO, SC – One person sustained injuries when his vehicle crashed for unknown reasons on a central Colleton County road on Saturday, WCBD News 2 reports.
Fire and Rescue officials responded to the scene at Crooks Hill Road near Clearwater Lane. They say the crash happened when the driver of a Chevy Tahoe lost control of his vehicle on a curve in the road and collided with a tree. The Tahoe then caught fire.
The driver of the Tahoe escaped from the vehicle, at which point medics transported him to an area hospital.
Police will continue an investigation of the wreck.
