News: Passenger killed in Colleton Co. ATV rollover crash

COLLETON COUNTY, SC – One man died, and another went to jail following an ATV accident that occurred on private property Saturday afternoon near Adams Run, WYFF 4 reports.

Police say the crash happened around 2:15 p.m. in the area of Lowndes Landing Road and Parkers Ferry Road.

The full circumstances of the incident are unclear, but authorities say a passenger died when a Can Am side-by-side ATV vehicle overturned. Officials have not disclosed the identity of the victim.

The driver of the ATV, whom police have identified as 40-year-old Lee Rollin McClary, was arrested and charged with felony driving under the influence resulting in death.
