Tom Kyle serves as the Senior Counsel for Advocacy and Litigation Skills Development at The Jeffcoat Firm, where he is dedicated exclusively to advancing the courtroom and litigation capabilities of the firm’s attorneys. In this strategic role, Tom leads the firm’s efforts to train and mentor litigators, equipping them with the tools, techniques, and mindset to excel in personal injury litigation.

A highly-respected trial lawyer with over 27 years of experience and a track record of success in serious injury and wrongful death cases, Tom brings both depth and passion to the art of advocacy. His belief in the power of the jury system has guided his approach throughout his career: that when presented with the truth, jurors will deliver justice. Now, Tom channels that same conviction into training others—guiding the attorneys of The Jeffcoat Firm on how to develop compelling case themes, master deposition and trial skills, and build persuasive courtroom presence.

Double board-certified in Civil Trial and Civil Practice by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, Tom is nationally recognized for his excellence in litigation and legal education. He is a Champion of the National College of Advocacy’s Masters of Trial Law Program and holds honors such as membership in the MultiMillion Dollar Advocates Forum, Elite Trial Lawyers, Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and the Belli Society.

Tom’s commitment to continuous learning and innovation has taken him across the country to study the craft of trial presentations and stay at the forefront of advocacy. At The Jeffcoat Firm, he designs and delivers hands-on training sessions, mock trial exercises, and individualized coaching to sharpen attorneys’ skills in jury selection, witness examination, storytelling, and strategic motion practice. He also develops a robust internal training curriculum and brings in outside experts to ensure the firm’s litigators are always learning, evolving, and ready for trial.

Tom is licensed in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa state and federal courts, as well as the United States Court of Federal Claims.
