MARLBORO CO., SC – Authorities have not publicly named the person who died in a crash involving an 18-wheeler on a highway north of Bennettsville Wednesday.
WBTW News 13 reports that an eastbound tractor-trailer and a westbound 2009 Buick sedan collided on SC-79 around 6:14 p.m. near Scenic View Road.
The driver of the sedan died from injuries sustained in the crash.
No other injuries have been reported, and police have not yet commented on how the collision happened.
