PENDLETON, SC – A woman was killed in a single-vehicle collision in Anderson County early Monday afternoon.
According to a report by WSPA, the collision occurred at about 12:15 p.m. along the Liberty Highway.
Troopers believe 60-year-old Stacey Simmons was heading west on the freeway when her vehicle went off the side of the roadway and struck a culvert. Simmons was flown to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries a short time later.
